1. Who we are
TradePro ("we," "us," "our") operates an SMS lead-routing service for home-services contractors. We are based in Alberta, Canada. Contact: david@trade-pro.ca.
2. Information we collect
We collect information from two sources:
- Lead form submissions. When a homeowner submits a Facebook Lead Ad linked to a contractor we work with, Meta forwards us the lead's name, phone number, email address, location (city / postal area), service requested, and any other fields the contractor's lead form asks for. We did not collect this information directly from the homeowner; the homeowner provided it to Meta in response to the contractor's ad.
- Contractor account data. When a contractor onboards, we collect their business name, phone number, email address, service area, time zone, and the IDs of the Meta Lead Forms they want us to route to them.
3. How we use it
Lead data is used to:
- Forward the lead to the contractor by SMS so they can follow up.
- Track whether the contractor classifies the lead as good, bad, or unreachable, and report that signal back to Meta's Conversions API to help train ad-quality optimization.
- Maintain a record of leads, replies, and delivery status for service operation, billing, and dispute resolution.
Contractor data is used to authenticate the contractor, route leads to the correct phone number, and bill for the service.
4. Who we share it with
We share lead data with the contractor whose lead form generated the lead. We do not sell data, and we do not share data with any other contractor.
We use the following third-party processors to operate the service:
- Supabase — database hosting (US).
- Twilio and Telnyx — SMS delivery.
- GoHighLevel — conversation management surface for contractors.
- Meta (Facebook) — Conversions API event reporting.
- Mailgun — outbound email.
- Hetzner — server hosting (Germany).
Each processor receives only the data necessary for its role and is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.
5. How long we keep it
We retain lead and conversation records for as long as the contractor account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward (typically 24 months) for accounting, dispute resolution, and ad-performance analysis. We will delete lead data sooner on request — see Section 7.
6. International transfers
Our backend runs on servers in Germany (Hetzner) and our database is hosted in the United States (Supabase). Meta processes data in the regions it operates. By using the service you consent to your data being processed in these jurisdictions.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To exercise these rights, email david@trade-pro.ca with your phone number or email address as it was given on the lead form. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a homeowner who submitted a lead and you no longer want SMS contact from the contractor, reply STOP to any message and the contractor's SMS provider will block further messages to your number.
8. SMS / messaging
Contractors who use TradePro send SMS to lead phone numbers on the basis of the lead's submission of a contractor-owned Facebook Lead Ad form. If you reply STOP, you will be unsubscribed. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by contractor.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website (trade-pro.ca) does not set any cookies and does not run analytics or tracking scripts.
10. Children's privacy
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child's data has been submitted, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days.
